We are very excited to have him lead our Dartmouth High School team.
On June 18, 2014, John Gould accepted the post of Dartmouth High School Principal from Superintendent Ana C. Riley. John has served the communities of Norfolk, Wrentham, and Plainville as King Philip Regional High School’s Assistant Principal for the past four years. Previously, John was a Social Studies teacher at Quaboag Regional High School, Curriculum Coordinator for Social Studies at Dedham (Grades 6-12), and Dean of Students at Groton-Dunstable Regional High School.
This past September, John was awarded his Doctorate in Educational Leadership from Northeastern University. He holds Bachelors in History from Northeastern University, Masters of Education from UMass Lowell, and a Masters of Arts in History from Providence College.
John resides in Medway, Massachusetts with his daughter Mary Kate, his son Jack, and his wife Laura.
This summer, DHS students can choose one book to read from a list of six award-winning titles, three fiction and three nonfiction. Honors students will also read one additional title, which can be found on the website as well.
