Multi-cultural Club
Mardi Gras and Carnival are celebrated before the start of Lent on Ash Wednesday.  This year Ash Wednesday falls on Wednesday, March 1.  Traditionally, Lent was a season of fasting, so Mardi Gras was a way to celebrate before the self-deprivation of Lent.  Fat Tuesday is the culmination and last day of Mardi Gras.  The Multi-cultural Club will be selling Mardi Gras beads after vacation on Monday and Fat Tuesday.  Join in the fun and celebrate by buying Mardi Gras beads before school.  Three strands for $1.00.  Let the good times roll!!
Baseball Sign Ups
Thursday, March 2nd at 2:15 in the Cafeteria.  Anyone interested in trying out should attend.  Attendance is MANDATORY!
A.P. Exam Payment
Registration for all Semester 2 students in AP Courses will begin on February 13, 2017.  The deadline for Semester 2 students, which includes students in a Q234 and YR class, is March 1, 2017.  Payment is being done differently this year.  You will be able to go online, choose all of the tests you wish to order at that time, and make your payment by electronic check or credit card.
 
Regular Exam Fees                 $93.00
Capstone Research Fee         $141.00
Qualified free/reduced Exam Fee    $15.00

DRIVER’S ED. ANNOUNCEMENT
The next Drivers’ Ed. class will begin on Monday, February 27th and run through Friday,
March 10th.  Students who have been assigned to this class have been notified through their SCHOOL EMAIL.  Please check your email as soon as possible to find out if you are in this class. 
 
If you are unable to access your school email, a list of students (by ID#’s) has been posted in the window of the Main Office and on the bulletin board in the cafeteria.  Please check one of these locations for your ID number.  Class will be held from 2:05pm until 5:05pm in Room A-27.  Students who are assigned to this class must report directly to Room A-27 from their Block 4 class.

Yearbook recognition ads are a great way for parents, families and friends to commemorate student achievements and important milestones. Attention LMC Enthusiasts
The library staff would like to remind you that the library opens early and closes late to provide ALL students with a safe space and the materials to work.  We encourage you to utilize the library space and its resources both before and after school and during lunch.  Starting next semester, students are welcome to come in at any of these times with a Teacher Signed agenda and somthing to work on.  If a student is unable to obtain a teacher signed agenda book, please have a conversation with an administrator or Ms. Lawrence.
 
Student Activity Fees (Club Fees): Online Payment

Students participating in after-school clubs and activities are required to pay a $25.00 fee, which covers all clubs that the students participates in.  To pay this online fee, go to the Town of Dartmouth website at http://www.town.dartmouth.ma.us  .  Go to Online Payments / Dartmouth Schools / Students Activity Fees (Clubs).  Please read the information on this page before processing your payment.
If paying by check, please make the check payable to "Town of Dartmouth" and include the student's full name on the memo line.
Homework Hang Out
Are you already feeling a little behind in your school work?  Are you afraid of that algebra or short story?  Feel free to stop by homework hangout in B2 every Tuesday and Thursday starting Tuesday 9/27 from 2:15 -3:00!  Assistance is offered from upperclassmen and teachers, eager to help you succeed.  And if that isn't enough, there will also be free snacks cause who doesn't like to nibble while cranking out that Pythagorean Theorem?  Stop by once a week, once a month, or every Tuesday and Thursday for the sake of your sanity.
Readers Forum
Reader's Forum our weekly book club, meets EVERY FRIDAY in B2 during 1st, 2nd, and 3rd lunch. Still not a member?  Not a problem!  A sign up sheet is available in the LMC! Or just stop by during your lunch! If you have any questions please see Ms. Lawrence, she's happy to help!
Parking Passes
Parking passes will not be sold at the high school.  This year students will purchase their passes on line by accessing the town website at http://www.town.dartmouth.ma.us. Go to Online Payments / Dartmouth schools / High School student parking. Once they have purchased one, students will bring in their receipt to Ms. St. Pierre after August 25, 2016 to receive their permit along with signing the agreement form.  Please click here to review the agreement form.
